The license agreement shouldn't be using space to try to align text to center. Like this: MOZILLA PUBLIC LICENSE Version 1.1 --------------- All text should be left aligned!
I don't agree with you that it should be all left aligned, but then, I'm no UE person either. I'm not sure who should be doing this, or even if we can. The license file being used is mozilla/LICENSE. CC:ing a some people in case they know.
We use center alignment for what's on the website. But I don't think it matters to the license whether the license file is center or left or right aligned. mitchell
FWIW, the Netscape license is left-justified. But as Mitchell says, it doesn't to the license one way or the other. H. Gemal, what is the issue with it being centered? I'm not aware that it looks funky (because of the spacing used) when centered on a particular platform. And is there some readability issue? Or is this bug purely aesthetics-based?
purely looks....

Adding Dawn and Asa to cc list. I agree that the license looks poorly formatted. But I'm not the one to make the change to the license. Perhaps Dawn or Asa would, and then check it back in or give the license back to Sean for that.
I would recomment simple checking in the modified license file to the same place. This way everyone using it will pick it from central location.
There also seems to be some problems with the sections that has CAPITAL letters. Those sections seems to wrap wrongly...
I can't (and shouldn't be) modifying the license file. I'm not sure who the proper owner for this bug is, so I'll default to dawn for now. Dawn, please reassign to the right person if you are not it.

Couldn't we just show the license scrolldown box in Courier ?
It needs to be shown in a fixed-width font. Is it displayed using an iframe or something? In that case, if the license is plaintext, it should be in fixed-width font anyway.
Summary: License Agreement needs layout fixup → License Agreement should shown with fixed-width font
isn't it very simple to switch to a fixed font?
adding 139504 as a dependency.
