User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:10.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/10.0 Build ID: 20120129021758 Steps to reproduce: Network failure on POP3 Actual results: When Thunderbird cannot contact POP3 servers (eg network down) then multiple pop up boxes appear which all need cancelling. Since every network failure produces two boxes (one for sending of username did not succeed, one to optionally enter a new password) - on multiple accounts a network failure is frustratingly untidy and requires me to cancel 20 boxes while desperately trying to set off line status. Expected results: This should be reported more gracefully - let the failures all report into a single status report rather than multiple pop up boxes - then if a password needs changing then it can be done from there. Better yet, differentiate between network failure and password failure (I know it's not that easy with POP3)

Better yet, let me preset Thunderbird to always act as if I'd selected "Retry", thus relieving me of the need to do so whenever the PC or network is slow.
