Details

(Whiteboard: [bugday-20131111])

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; rv:9.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/9.0.1
Build ID: 20111220165912

Steps to reproduce:

First, I've set a personnal bar for my own links.
In this bar I have at the left "most visited", then I have 13 folders on this bar.

On last versions of Firefox (like 6 or 7) I didn't have the problem I will report now.

When I start my browser, this bar is simply not appearing...but, the space for this bar appears.
Basically, I just see an empty bar.

Actual results:

So, I did following : display > toolbar > personal bar.
Then the empty bar disappears.
I do the same again, then the personnal bar appears as normal.
This happens only when I start the browser.

Expected results:

The bar should be here when I open the browser, shouldn't it ?

Moreover I use FF9 default settings, but I changed one thing under security.
In tools > options > security I defined a password to protect all passwords saved on FF. Not sure if it could be the root of the problem ?
Thanks for filing the bug, sorry it stayed untouched.

Have you seen it happen with a recent version of Firefox?
Does "default settings" mean you had no extensions installed?
