Steps to reproduce:

I got an email that has a hard tab ( ASCII 9 ) in the subject.  As in "foo<tab>bar".


Actual results:

The subject is not displayed correctly in thread pane.  Instead of showing "foo bar" it shows "foobar", though it does show "foo bar" in the bottom pane.
