Hi,
We are planning on doing screening events at 4 film schools across the US. Unfortunately, one of the dates was just moved up a week to 2/15 so we are very very quickly creating a bunch of signage. I am working with Bob Currie to quickly get this stuff printed and am hoping you guys can quickly develop some signage.
We should keep the signs similar to the posters using the same headline and sub head we are using on the site with the URL of www.firefoxflicks.org. We want to be able to reuse these signs at multiple events so lets keep them pretty basic.
Here is what we need:
o 6 feet by 2 feet free-standing vinyl banner
o (These are packable posters that can be re-used and easily shipped or carried on major airlines)
o Podium sign (if podium is available)- not entirely sure of the dimensions on this by anychance do you know?
o
o Banner to be placed outside screening theater or near food area. As with the banners above, this would be a packable posters that can be re-used and easily shipped or carried on major airlines. Also, not entirely sure of the dimensions here. Is there a standard banner size we typically do?
I know this is super tight but how quickly can we get this stuff mocked up? I need to get it to Bob Currie asap.
Thanks!
Kristin

Kristin, what is your design hand-off deadline for print?
Rhonda! could you please help us out with this? I believe you did some work already on Flicks, if there are any assets you don't have, please list and we shall provide.
cc-ing Lee to help where assets may be missing.

Rhonda,
Here's the vector postcard file for you:

You can re-scale and fit banner dimensions from this.

Hi guys--
Thanks Lee!
Kristin--I would need to know dimensions for the podium size banner--if you dont know exact dimensions, the size of the podium would be helpful--we could probably figure it out from there.
As far as other event banners that we have done in the past, I have only ever done banners for EU events. That being said, they are usually 80" x 160", approximately in inches.

Thanks Rhonda.
Bob Currie is pricing this stuff out for me. (I am having deja vu working on a project with you and Bob Currie. Feels like old times. :)) I have asked him to confirm the dimensions for the podium sign and the banner.
He did say he needs art today so if we can get that today that would be fabulous.
Thanks!

Hey Kristin--
So do you want me to do one banner that is 6' x 2' and then you are going to get me the sizes for the remaining art?

Hey Rhonda,
Here are dimensions from Bob for signage.
podium sign would be about 12" x 18".
A good standard banner size would be around 2 x 4 feet, or 2 x 6 feet
depending on the proportion of the artwork. Let me know which size you think is best based on the art.
Can I add one thing? Bob says he can get us stickers asap. Can you also mock up a sticker at 2.25" x 4" with crop marks.
Thanks a ton!

One change on the stand up banner. Bob says the dimensions are actually 30"x88".
So in total we need:
- Stand up banner 30x88"
- Podium sign 12x18"
- Banner 2x4' or 2x6' depending on artwork
- Stickers 2.25" x 4" with crop marks
Let me know if you have questions. Thanks a ton!

Hey Kristin-
Just need to clarify whether each of these measurements below are horiz or vertical.
- Stand up banner 30x88"
- Podium sign 12x18"
- Banner 2x4' or 2x6' depending on artwork
- Stickers 2.25" x 4" with crop marks
:)

whoops, sorry.
banner: 30"horizontal, 88" vertical
podium sign: 12" horizontal, 18" vertical
banner: 2' vertical; 4 or 6' horizontal
stickers: 2.25" vertical; 4" horizontal
hope that helps.

You're the best. Thanks so much for the quick turn. Bob just said looking for art from Rhonda. :) I said I am looking at it. :)
Sorry, I didn't know which files Lee sent you. I have a few edits based on where these are going to be shown.
Sign: since this will be on the podium the body copy won't be readable so I'd like to remove all copy starting with "a global video contest......" and keep the URL removing the "www"
Stickers: remove "www" on the URL then these are good to go
30x88 banner/stand up sign: looks good just remove the "www". I am wondering if there is too much copy on this. I am going to get a second opinion on the amount of copy on this one.
24x72 banner: this might be my bad but I would like this to be the logo, wordmark and URL only. This should hang horizontal. So I see it as the logo followed the wordmark horizontally with the URL under the wordmark. Does this make sense?
Thanks so much!

Thanks so much Rhonda. Overall, looking really good. John and I looked at these and have a few minor tweaks. Is it possible to do these first thing in the morning (thursday?). Bob is anxious to get the art.
12x18 sign: the "Lights! Camera! Awesome!" and the "Mozilla Presents" lines feel a little too close together. Lets look at spacing them out more. We think they can both stand on their own.
24x72 banner: the "mozilla presents" line feels a little too tight with the logo and the wordmark. Did you look at putting "Mozilla Presents" about the word mark?
Stickers: remove "www" and the spacing feels tight on "Lights! Camera! Awesome!" and "Mozilla Presents". Lets try and space those out a bit
Big sign 30x88: remove the entire paragraph starting with "as a non-profit....." then space everything out on the sign so the URL will need to come up and the "Lights! Camera! Awesome! and Mozilla Presents" lines will need to be better spaced out.
Thanks a ton for the quick turn. I totally appreciate it.
