Built on i386, can't seem to ssh into a x86_64 machine to test.

To install this, you need to install:

please verify that puppet isn't downloading the rpms every time. You may need to add ensure => X.Y.Z to prevent this.

the patch looks good otherwise.

this is taken care of by puppetagain for new linux machines.  for old (centos5) the packages could be rebuilt and deployed by the 0.24.8 puppet manifests.
