File/Copy/Move menus blank on folders with children

Details
if I have a folder that has children, the menu entry that used to say something
like "file here" is now blank, with a menu seperator... strangely, the menu item
must be there because I can use select it even though it's only about 4 pixels
tall... so it's not dogfood, but I'm nominating catfood and nsbeta1
I get no messages on the console either
