I don't get a refresh button unless a page has been loaded. Opened New Tab Typed in www.google.com Clicked into blank tab area No refresh button available (only the go arrow) Did I miss something?
odd, in current Aurora 12.0a2 (2012-02-12) this is not longer enough, to move focus away from address bar. Now you have to click outside of the window or into the search bar to move the focus.
Confirmed on Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:13.0a1) Gecko/20120212 Firefox/13.0a1 ID:20120212031149 Steps to Reproduce: Open New Tab Type in www.google.com Click into search box (or outside the window as mentioned in comment 2) Actual Results: Go to icon (arrow) disappears and refresh button appears Expected Results: Icon should remain the go to arrow Note: putting focus back into location bar causes the go to arrow to re-appear Bug 660432 might be related or a duplicate
