Details
After bug 724748, the .* optimization is #if 0 (http://hg.mozilla.org/integration/mozilla-inbound/file/9253f058824a/js/src/builtin/RegExp.cpp#l529). We should either fix it (which means dealing with bug 691797 comment 6) or remove the code.

StartsWithGreedyStar is removed by the patch Part 2 in bug 808245.
