Steps to reproduce:

Enable HTML5 videos in Youtube (http://www.youtube.com/html5) 
Visit any video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9BON5nd8Fg)
Click Mute/Adjust volume slider



Actual results:

Volume changes after a long delay


Expected results:

Should have been very snappy just like how Flash behaves (or HTML5 Youtube in Chrome)

Just tried IE10 (Metro version,Windows8DP) and it works very snappily there too...
In Safari 5.1.1 it still has a very slight lag, though faster than Firefox...
