Visiting this page causes mozilla to behave badly - behavior is different depending on mood, I think. I've visited the page about 8 times in the last few minutes and mozilla has hung each time. It looks like its the shockwave, but sometimes it doesn't even begin to do the shockwave stuff. The page actually loads two frames : .../2001/03-16-2001/index.html .../index_2.html and the index_2.html seems to be the less nicely behaved - loading that page alone in a newly started browser seems to result in the same behavior.
Adding hang keyword and updating summary. Worksforme on 2001031604 Win2k with Showckwave/Flash Plug-in installed. Which build ID are you using?
I noticed that Mozilla used a _lot_ of CPU time on that page, though.
I'm using linux build 2001032008. And it may just be using lots and lots of CPU, but pretty quickly mozilla stops responding to the mouse or window refresh events.
I can´t see a hang on my machine. (Athlon 950 with 512MB RAM) I´m using build 2001032004 / win2k. If I move my mouse over the calendar my cpu goes to ~95%. There might be a hang on slower machines. (OS : Linux -=> ALL)

This page simply has too much flash. Thats why CPU usage is so high. There's nothing you can do about that. This page even kills my cpu in IE.
am marking this LATER based on Gavin's comments. Reopen with proper comments, if u wud like 2.

Why LATER? Are you planning to fix it somehow at a later point? If it's not a bug in Mozilla -- and I don't think that this is -- please reopen and resolve to INVALID.
reopening to mark it INVALID..
