Description

1. go to http://people.mozilla.com/~nhirata/html_tp/formsninputv2.html
2. scroll down to the bottom 
3. click on the text area field
4. type in portrait view

Expected: whatever you type appears
Actual: nothing appears (unless you dismiss the VKB)

I'm not seeing this, it appears to have been fixed by something or the other. Tested on Galaxy Tab 10.1 on google.com, m.facebook.com, and nhirata's test page from comment #0. I'll test on the GN as well once it has charged enough to turn on.

Note that there's a positioning issue when the input field gets focus which is filed as bug 732016.

This bug or a same bug is yet here with Firefox 19.0.2 (Iceweasel on Debian Squeeze).
Parts of text of a textarea disappears randomly.
