Steps to reproduce:

Sometimes, usually after being on the internet for a prolonged time, whenever I press certain punctuation keys, such as the ' key, I do not get the character on the key



Actual results:

Sometimes, usually after being on the internet for a prolonged time, whenever I press certain punctuation keys, the wrong character is displayed. Closing and restarting Firefox "fixes" the issue.

Expected results:

When I press a key, I expect to get the character on the key

A guess: if this is related to Firefox at all, it should be platform specific.
