BrowserID has been released in several new locales, and is not available in all our current production locales except sr-Latn and pt-BR. We should enable BrowserID auth for all the other locales. chelsea, milos: When pt-BR and sr-Latn are done, we will want to remove the code for the old authentication method. The downside to this is that we won't be able to add new locales that BrowserID doesn't have. Are we okay with this limitation? ozten: Is there anything special that needs to change with the BrowserID code we have, or will it auto-detect the user's locale and work without changes?
(In reply to Michael Kelly [:mkelly] from comment #0) No other special tweaks for BrowserID code is needed.

Here's the list of locales currently live for Persona: https://github.com/mozilla/browserid/blob/dev/config/l10n-prod.json Given that list and the mess that we have currently for maintaining two types of login systems, I suggest that as part of the redesign we switch to Persona-only login. Thoughts?
+1 let us know if we can help.
As per comment 3, part of the redesign will involve Persona-only login. That effort is tracked by 945867 and its dependencies, so this particular bug is a WONTFIX. :D
