User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:10.0.1) Gecko/20120208 Firefox/10.0.1 SeaMonkey/2.7.1 Build ID: 20120208224119 Steps to reproduce: i activated te option "restore tabs from previous session at startup" a long time before (see image). this worked well until i upgraded to seamonkey 2.7.1. Actual results: since i the update to 2.7.1 the seamonkey browser always starts with an empty browser window. Expected results: instead of an empty browser windows, the tabs from the previous session should appear (as it did befor the upgrade to 2.7.1).

WFM. Can you confirm that after closing SeaMonkey that there remains a 'sessionstore.json' in your Profile folder. Are you clearing private data when you close SeaMonkey? Any change if you restart in Safe Mode? (Help | Restart with Add-ons disabled) Any change if you also disable Plugins? (Tools | Add-ons Manager -> Plugins) Any change if as a test you create a new, clean Profile? (Tools | Switch Profile)
in my profile, the file sessionstore.json was damaged. after executing chkdsk {drive}: /F in a cmd window, i could delete the damaged file and now it works again.
