Placeholder for GA copy for the shareable snippet at launch in early June.
Porting over the conversation from Bug 725697, this is where we left off at:
The all new, faster, sleeker Firefox for Android is here. Upgrade your Android browsing experience today! _link_ #browsebetter
#firefoxforandroid
#newfirefox
#awesomefox
#browsingupgrade
Deadline: April 30

To give ample time for L10N, let's shoot for an earlier deadline - how's April 18?
We decided to move away from "all new" and instead position it as just another upgrade (but an awesome glorified upgrade). I attached a creative brief on more positioning info - hope that sparks something!
cc'ing williamr for any recommendations on what kind of post would get the most Tweets/Shares and possible hashtags that would be most viral - william, this is going to be in a snippet and we're going to have Tweet/FB share links for people to share this message.
Thanks!

Deadline looks good to me. William, let me know if you have any more direction. Thanks.

As something to consider, the snippet copy and sharing message copy can be different. The copy could also be nearly identical for the two.
A few ideas for sharing copy:
- The new Firefox for Android is fast and easy to use. Check it out: (link)
- Fast and easy to use. Firefox for Android just got a BIG upgrade. Try it out: (link)
- Fast, fast, fast. Firefox for Android just got a big upgrade. Try it out: (link)

I think these all look great. They're short and single-focused. Jaclyn, do these work for you?
Here are a couple of other options, though they're a bit longer:
Give mobile browsing an upgrade. The new Firefox for Android is fast and easy to use. Check it out: [link]
Give mobile browsing an upgrade with the redesigned Firefox for Android. It's fast and easy to use! Check it out: [link]
Fast, easy to use, completely customizable. Firefox for Android is back in a big way. Try it today: [link]
William, any thoughts on hashtags? Here's what we had above, plus a few more:
#browsebetter
#firefoxforandroid
#newfirefox
#awesomefox
#browsingupgrade
#upgradefirefox
#fastfastfast
#fxupgrade
#firefoxisback
I like this one:
Fast, fast, fast. Firefox for Android just got a big upgrade. Try it out (link)
Thought: Since this will be on a Snippet, should we change the CTA to something along the lines of "help us spread the word" rather than "try it out"? We haven't had the share buttons there before, so wondering if we need to call it out that we want people to post the snippet to their Twitter or Facebook.
#hooraynewfirefox?
Or better yet, let's do two versions with 1) share CTA and 2) get it CTA

I say we do this in the snippet:
Fast, fast, fast. Firefox for Android just got a big upgrade. Help us spread the word.
That way it's clear what we're asking them to do.
But in the pre-populated tweet/facebook post, we do this:
Fast, fast, fast. Firefox for Android just got a big upgrade. Try it out: (link)
Because we want the people who read those to actually download.
How does that sound?
+1 sounds good thanks!
