Both Jeff and Ehsan have seen that, at times, all rendering is black. (The chrome paints, but the content is black.)
When I saw this on Ehsan's Galaxy Nexus, it redrew properly after he panned the page.
Not sure if this is needed for mwc-demo, but tentatively saying that it is.
related or dup of bug 728364?

It is possible that this is a duplicate of bug 728631; let's hold off to see if it's truly gone before marking it.
