here's the assertion ###!!! Break: at file nsNewsDatabase.cpp, line 168 ###!!! ASSERTION: set is null!: 'm_readSet', file nsNewsDatabase.cpp, line 168 should be easy to fix.

I think this is still there, I think I saw this problem recently. note, you'd need a debug build to see it. I'll try my build, and reopen if necessary.
reopening. start up, immediately do search of newsgroup. you'll get the assert.
