Will install one box in Santa Clara / SCL3 and do initial install there. That's a week out right now.

Implementation wise, this is like an origin server for www.mozilla.org but external parties will have access to it.
Which is the correct network? DMZ?

There is also a remote management (DRAC?) card that needs an address:
REMOTE ACCESS CARD
The SiteSpect system includes a network-based Remote Access Card for maintenance and diagnostic use by the SiteSpect support team.
ACCESS
SiteSpect requires full access to all ports and IP addresses configured on all SiteSpect appliances. Acceptable access restrictions include using a VPN or binding access to our corporate IP address via a firewall rule.

We'll be able to extract the SiteSpect address space from the existing rules on fw1.sjc1

Hi Guys - Ping on this. We'd like to start testing within the next two weeks, by 3/14. Can you give me a sense of timing on this?

The sitespect hardware has been relocated to scl3. Prior to the move, we discovered necessary hardware for properly installing the servers was missing. Replacement parts are due to arrive by 3/5, and we will have the servers accessible shortly afterwards.

Hi Derek - are the replacement parts in yet? What's the ETA of having the servers accessible?

dmoore, do you have DRAC login info?

Comment 10•13 years ago

I have DRAC login. Dmoore, these are all online?
Comment 11•13 years ago
|

All three have been online in scl3:
sitespect1 - https://inventory.mozilla.org/en-US/systems/show/1223/
sitespect2 - https://inventory.mozilla.org/en-US/systems/show/4948/
sitespect3 - https://inventory.mozilla.org/en-US/systems/show/4949/
I believe we're waiting on Bug 739623

I forget where we are on this but this project is back.
* Which Vlan should DRAC be on?
* Which Vlan should each server be on?
