Hmm... that doesn't work in Desktop firefox either (spoofing Fennec 4.0 UA to get the mobile wikipedia site).

This appears to be due to a bug on our end (Wikipedia): https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=30859
We're not properly initializing things for the video and audio players on our mobile view.
If you click through to the 'View this page on regular Wikipedia" link on the bottom of the page for the desktop view, the video should play (though slowly as it's 1080p!)

Hirata-san, could you please test this again? According to Brion on the bugzilla wikimedia, this should be fixed now :-)
Thank you very much.

Perrier-san, the bug is not fixed :
1. go to http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_panda [either on fennec or with Fennec ua on desktop]
2. select show for "Conservation"
3. scroll down to "In captivity"
4. click on the play button
Expected: video to play
Actual: nothing happens.

This is a problem MediaWiki's end and can be closed your end.
Currently ogg files are scrubbed on mediawiki's mobile site - this was due to some javascript not being ported from desktop to mobile yet
The scrubbing happens here:

These should actually work now; videos now export a <video> tag directly and should include Ogg Theora and WebM versions.
I can confirm that the Red Panda video shows up and plays on my Galaxy Nexus.
(Other browsers actually are now the hangup for video as most don't support Theora or WebM and we haven't got H.264 or MP4 transcodes going yet. Congrats on being the first browser to support mobile Wikipedia video! ;)
