(Reporter: tech4pwd, Assigned: sriram)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:13.0a1) Gecko/13.0a1 Firefox/13.0a1
Build ID: 20120218031156

Steps to reproduce:

Testing on tumblr.com and twitter.com Fennec Native doesn't offer form credentials, where as its XUL counterpart did and Desktop does.
OS: Windows 7 → Android
Hardware: x86 → ARM
Can we reproduce this issue? This would be a high priority issue.

Paul - just to get more details, this is not about Sync, right? This is an issue where you enter a password once and the doorhanger appears to save the password. You allow the password to be saved, but when trying to log in after logging out or quitting Fennec and coming back - the password is not auto-entered. Is this right?

Also note, if you have more than one login for a website, you'll need to enter the username before the password appears.
Works for me on https://mobile.twitter.com/sessions/new the default page we get sent to is https://mobile.twitter.com/signup which does not have login form info. Entered user name/password manually (no Sync involved).

Using 2012-02-18 Mozilla central nightly

Apologies for not being clearer. This was very much a sync. Testing with FF10 on the same pages, my credentials would come up. However on FF13, I had no joy whatsoever.
The password content provider for Sync should be working via bug 704682. CC'ing :rnewman.
The Fennec side of the code is what bug 704682 covers the Sync side is 709385 and still open for now.
