Steps to reproduce:

In trying to register for an account at addons.mozilla.org on 

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/users/register

I accidentally mistyped my email address, what should have been
[e-mail]
but was typed as
[e-mail]
(extra 'y')



Actual results:

Since there isn't any 'confirm your email address' field, I missed the mistake.
I can't login and change my email address since the confirmation address is being sent to a non-existent domain (well, not non-existent; it belongs to a Viagra seller... :)

Adding a 'confirm your email address' field should be trivial and stop idiots like me from making such a silly mistake...  now my username at AMO (which is the same as my email address at Bugzilla) is 'taken' and can never be used by me at AMO. :(
(Unless some helpful sysadmin can delete the AMO account 'smarteralec', so I can re-register it? Please?  Pretty please? :)
I realize that asking to get the invalid account deleted is probably more work that rewriting the registration page source, which is the real issue and which would stop other people from making the same mistake... but I would really like to continue using my smarteralec persona.... (Much thanks in advance!)


Expected results:

Either a 'retype your email address' field should be on the sign-up page, or use the same method as developer.mozilla.org , which actually requires you to confirm the email address before continuing with the registration process.
