Steps to reproduce:

try to send an email with an embedded local image


Actual results:

appeared a message box with the following error message:
"Failed to send the message.
Error with the attachment."


Expected results:

The email should be sent

Can you re-try in safe-mode just to check? Help ➙ Restart with Add-ons Disabled

I just did, but the result is the same:
first appears a messagebox saying:"Assembling mail information"
followed by another saying:"Sending of message failed. Attachment error."

just upgraded to Fedora 16 with 
version: thunderbird-10.0.1-1.fc16.i686:
same result.

With version: thunderbird-10.0.1-2.fc16.i686 same problem

In another machine running Fedora 13 same problem with following versions:

thunderbird-10.0-1.fc13.remi.i686
thunderbird-10.0-1-1.fc13.remi.i686

same problem

Hope someone can resolve.

Just upgraded to Fedora 17 Alpha with version: thunderbird-11.0-5.fc17.i686

problem gone away.
