For example

the short cut for MySidebar state can be Ctrl+T

(T of tab.. )
There is a shortcut and it's F9
so WFM

Agreed but F9 is view ON/OFF. The suggestion is about open/close.

But anyway, my suggestion was made based in the N6 and not Mozilla, sorry I was
not updated with Mozilla F9 feature. I will keep the RFE so others can add
comments about the fact or ON/OFF versun OPEN/CLOSE. 
No. there's already a bug for that. WFM.
