728973 - Make Firefox button a drop target for tabs/bookmarks

Currently, you can drag a tab down to the bookmark toolbar, the bookmark menu, or the bookmark menu button, and when you drop it, it will bookmark the tab's URL. You can also do this with the favicon in the location bar. And eventually, I guess the bookmark star in the location bar will be draggable.

You currently can't drag any of those items into the Firefox button's menu. Dragging stuff over the button does nothing.

It'd be nice to be able to drag/drop tabs/favicons/stars/whatevers into the Firefox menu's Bookmarks submenu as well.

Hello Wes,

I just found your old Bug-report / feature request...
I'm not 100% sure what you button you are talking about, so I want to ask you 2 things:
1.) is this still valid? or is it already working in the meantime?
2.) can you please attach a pic to see in detail what you need?

I'd call this bug invalid sinve the orange Firefox button no longer exists.
