1. go to http://v8.googlecode.com/svn/data/benchmarks/v6/revisions.html 2. select the link next to Version 6 3. Wait until finished Expected: no dialog Actual: warning dialog comes up for unresponsiveness in script : RegEx.js Note: 1. happens on ICS, Honeycomb, Gingerbread, Froyo Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy Tab, Galaxy SII, LG Revolution Nightly 2/19/2012
Not sure what the fix is here. The unresponsive script dialog is doing it's job. We could file a JS bug to try to improve the regex perforamnce, but I don't know how important it is for this benchmark.
Priority: -- → P3
Was there something that was going to land to improve the graphics and/or JS soon (I don't know the answer so just asking the question) The default browser does not show any dialog, nor does any other browser.
I just tested it on an Atrix (Nightly 2/22) and it worked fine. What surprises me is that I thought v8bench ran each test for 5 seconds and counted runs, which I think would stay under the 10 second limit. What part of that is not true?
