Details
There is currently no way to restore an application shortcut after deleting an app from the android desktop.

This might happen on certain devices and having a clear way to regenerate will remove a lot of headaches in device setup.

New flow for triggering "install" on installed apps: "Update App" dialog (same as normal install) will ask to create shortcut and/or to launch the app. Doing so will update the local database with the latest manifest/icon too, to transfer any changes.
Flow: Click installed app in the market page.
