Build: Nightly:Fennec/13.0a1 (2012-02-21) Device: HTC Desire Z OS: Android 2.3 Steps to reproduce: 1. Open Fennec 2. Go to addons.mozilla.org 3. Select any add-on that is compatible with your browser and tap on "Add to firefox" 4. A pop-up will come up. Tap on "Install" on that pop-up. Expected Result: The fennec icon should appear in the status notification bar.Drag the status bar down to see the add-on download notification. Actual Result: There is no fennec icon in the status notification bar.
This is as designed. We no longer want to show the system notification when downloading an add-on. We already show a few in-app dialogs and toast alerts.
