Just for fun, I'm trying out T'bird with regular Menu bar disabled (View / Toolbars / Menu Bar is unchecked).  Most work that I do seems fine without the menus, and I can add appropriate buttons to the Mail Toolbar if necessary.  

However, there is no button for Address Book, so that seems to be an exception to this ease-of-use issue.   

Sure, there's a keyboard short-cut, but I'd just like to Customize the Mail Toolbar with an Address Book button, that's all.

can you attach a screenshot of the toolbar and it's customization dialog, so that I can see where it's missing?

My mistake, I already had the button there, just using a non-default appearance and didn't notice (senior moment).

I'd mark this one User Error, but I don't see that available in Bugzilla Status below, can you do it?

Sure, I'll call it "Works For Me", cause that sounds nicer than "Invalid".  ;)

(I run into the same thing, too.  The "Japanese Tattoo" persona is pretty, but kinda hard to read sometimes.  :)
