Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:11.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/11.0
Build ID: 20120215222917

Steps to reproduce:

Go to : http://www.adityaravishankar.com/projects/games/command-and-conquer/
with Firefox 11 beta.

Hardware acceleration: enabled
OS : Windows 7 64bits

Then play Command&Conquer HTML5 game.

Actual results:

It's impossible to play because it is too slow.

Expected results:

We should have good performance as we have in Google Chrome 17 for example.
Does the issue still occur if you start Firefox in Safe Mode? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode
I tested in safe mode (so with HWA disabled) and it's clearly better:

*FF10: relatively fast and smooth, but I don't know if Chrome is faster than FF.
*FF13: clearly worst than FF10 and the browser may become 'unresponsive' when you try to close it to restart in normal mode.

Anyway there is an issue with HWA.
