Hi Tara, 

We wanted to print laptop skins for Firefox Beta. 
I was thinking similar to the  what we did for the Firefox Aurora Laptop Skins: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=700451

Maybe we can use the Firefox Beta Design as inspiration: mozilla.org/firefoxbeta

Also copying Ty as he designed the laptop skins for Aurora to see if he has any additional recommendations or feedback.

Do we you think we can put together something to review by next week?

Cool.  Thanks.  not sure if I understand how the beta page design can translate to a laptop skin... but perhaps Rhonda can help here with Ty's guidance / and using the previous aurora template file from that bug.

My recommendation would be to go simple...since we don't have a strong beta identity (or, any...really) we'd lead with the FF logo and throw in the "beta" message in text.  So, perhaps we can come up with a compelling short phrase or blurb to highlight "beta" and add that to the skin.  wdyt?

I will have some skins for EOD. I would have had them this morning, but suffered a crash which corrupted all open Photoshop files.

These are amazing! Thank you!!!! 
My favorite is #5.

#4:  Also like #4 because of the obviously recognizable firefox branding
#3:  I like the thinking/ design strategy of #3. However, because it's black and white, the firefox logo behind the workmark is really hard to see. It would be interesting to see the firefox logo colors on the wordmark. 
#7: is also nice as it has the same treatment as the aurora laptop skin. 
#8: is pretty cool as well. completely different treatment (less branded).

Can you please post the hi-res files here?
Lastly, I believe the laptop skins have rounded corners, do we need to make the corners rounded on the design? If it does not affect the design, I believe the printing company should be able to do it.

Which designs did you select that you want as high-res files?
Also, are you using Infectious again for getting these printed? Ill need to ready the designs for 15", 13" and possibly 11" if they offer that size
