View http://www.railgun3d.com/gltest2/demo.htm on Firefox Aurora on Windows with an ATI / AMD video card.


Actual results:

Observe objects appearing to fade to black, due to the fact that the lower mipmaps are black. See the screenshot for the incorrect behavior.


Expected results:

The lower mipmaps should not be black.

On Firefox Aurora, under Windows, specifically with ATI/AMD video cards, we're seeing our gpu-generated mipmaps that are all black. This bug doesn't appear to happen on Nvidia cards, or on other operating systems, or in non-Aurora Firefox.

Interestingly, Chrome Canary has the same bug, but not standard Chrome.  My guess is that it is an ANGLE bug with ATI cards.

Specifically, the issue appeared in Firefox 11. The mipmaps look fine in 9 and 10 and are black in 11 and 12.
