Created attachment 599871 [details] test_bad_mipmap.jpg User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:11.0a2) Gecko/20120109 Firefox/11.0a2 Build ID: 20120109042006 Steps to reproduce: View http://www.railgun3d.com/gltest2/demo.htm on Firefox Aurora on Windows with an ATI / AMD video card. Actual results: Observe objects appearing to fade to black, due to the fact that the lower mipmaps are black. See the screenshot for the incorrect behavior. Expected results: The lower mipmaps should not be black. On Firefox Aurora, under Windows, specifically with ATI/AMD video cards, we're seeing our gpu-generated mipmaps that are all black. This bug doesn't appear to happen on Nvidia cards, or on other operating systems, or in non-Aurora Firefox. Interestingly, Chrome Canary has the same bug, but not standard Chrome. My guess is that it is an ANGLE bug with ATI cards. http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=111071
Specifically, the issue appeared in Firefox 11. The mipmaps look fine in 9 and 10 and are black in 11 and 12.

Any update on this? The version this bug is in is now the release version.
I can't seem to reproduce it, but I can try to root-cause it anyway.
