The default query works different in Opera 5.02: When using the Opera browser, all lists in the query window have the first row preselected. When using Netscape, the New, Assigned and Reopened lines in the Status list are selected, most other lists are unselected. This means that the default query will not work in Opera (zarro boogs found). I have to manually fix every item in the query to get a proper result.
Sounds like an Opera bug to me. The default query is done by simply adding SELECTED to the <OPTION> tags.
Agreed. Marking invalid since this is an Opera problem and not Bugzilla. I looked through the HTML source generated by the query page, and although it does have other problems in it (already covered on other bugs) it is doing the Right Thing for the select boxes. nn4l@yahoo.de: if you feel differently, feel free to reopen.

This could be a Javascript bug, which we might be able to do something about. I don't really want to verify this until I hear that this happens with Javascript off.

I have added two attachments which demonstrate that the problem is probably with Opera. Both files look the same when viewed with Netscape or MSIE but different when viewed with Opera 5.02. The broken one has a form inside a table, that's the only difference. Both files have already been forwarded to Opera's customer support.
The same problem still exists in the new Opera 5.10 release :(
