The problem is there's no index.
cronjobs isn't installed... but that might not be the ultimate problem.
Install that, run the indexing stuff and then let's see...

I'm going to close this for now - that cron job isn't necessary for deployment or for this functioning with videos on stage/prod because they will all be indexed from the start.

I fuzzed the crud out of search, using both PowerFuzzer[1] and Netsparker[2], without issue.
