for ReMo Member of The Month / Mentor / Council / ReMo of the week / Most Create Events / Most Active ReMo / etc...
FWIW, we just launched badges.mozilla.org as a turn-key service for Mozilla groups to create and issue OBI-compatible badges. Awards can be issued manually, or via a work-in-progress HTTP API:

    https://github.com/mozilla/badges.mozilla.org/wiki/Award-API

If you want a closer integration and have a Django-based site, the code behind badges.mozilla.org is available as a reusable app called django-badger:

I would be interested in trying to integrate Open Badges in the Reps site. Would this bug require extensive knowledge of Django?

Tushar, great!

Erik, could you explain what is needed to display badges on profiles on reps.mozilla.org?

Note this is different from displaying badges on mozillians.org.

Hi! I was just wondering whether anyone could tell me the first steps/final goal, hopefully I'll be able to figure things as I go; was just wanting to get started before summer holidays end :)

Since there's no clear spec for this one for all these years I'm going to close it as INVALID. Feel free to open a new bug with specs and scope if that's still something needed by the program.
