wallet appears to support auto-fill of FAX numbers in its schema, but we never bother to fill it anywhere. Maybe we should?

Yes, I think it is a good idea. Although fax is supposedly on the way out, at least here in Japan, people (small or bigger businesses) often make use of it.
Otoh, more and more people – at home – only have a mobile phone…
I see no reason not to do this, either, given we can do it and wallet supports it (after all, wallet was written in the heyday of FAX :P ).

Given comment 1 and 2, is there a compelling reason to specifically look for a "home fax" and use "work fax" only if that's not found, or should we just take the first fax number we see? (I find it highly unlikely many people will have both.)

POC patch

Here's a proof-of-concept patch just in case I get hit by a bread truck. It's untested and has a bunch of related wallet crud in it that I've been working on, but Smokey and I agreed that this approach was reasonable and that people are unlikely to have two FAX numbers.

There's an actual fix for this over on bug 315469. I didn't feel like separating the two bugs since fax and phone numbers share logic.

Do we really need to add more code just for a dying technology, given that nobody has ever requested this in the history of the project?
I've wanted to be able to do this on several occasions, but given the futility of trying to get any fixes/changes made to our form fill code prior to me starting to learn to code :P I never filed any futile withering-on-the-vine bugs about it ;)
