730395 - Sync progress icon doesn't disappear for 30 seconds after sync finishes

seen on recent m-c builds on Galaxy Tab

STR:

1) go to the Android Settings > Accounts and Sync, then select the Fx Sync account
2) force a sync by clicking the icon in the upper right of the window.

observed results:
sync progress icon, next to check box of Sync Nightly line, spins for just under 2 seconds, then stops. The logCat shows sync complete at this point. However, the sync progress icon stops. It remains in that state for 30 seconds, the disappears.

expected results: once the sync is complete, the spinning progress icon should disappear

Perhaps there is a hint here? nNotice the 30 second delay between these two log entries.

Definitely when Sync finished and progress icon stops

Weird. My suspicion is that Android hides the icon when it has a sync that returns without changes, and it expects to keep syncing repeatedly until that happens.

Not urgent.
