Description

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:10.0.2) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/10.0.2
Build ID: 20120215223356

Steps to reproduce:

I have a lot of tabs open at the same time, which was fine up to firefox v3.6.3, but every new version afterwards crashed in about 5 minutes after i tried to restore my session... I find it convenient to use the browser this way, and i would really like if you could do something about it. I can't really think of any other way i could browse, and i don't really want to either. There are about 160 open tabs at the same time, which is a lot, but again, the 3.6.3 version had no objections to it.

Actual results:

Firefox crashed

Unfortunately, the embedded tool that generates stacks can manage this one.

To help narrow down the issue:
* does it happen in Safe Mode (see http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Safe%20Mode)?
* does it happen with a new profile (see http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Managing-profiles)?

Switching to safe mode seems to work, no crash so far.

Which extension was causing your crashes?

Plugins that are not disabled in Safe Mode don't make Firefox crash but extensions and themes that are disabled in Safe Mode might.

I have the adblock plus 2.0.3 extension, but disabling it doesn't help either... There is another extension, Adobe Acrobat pdf creator, but it's disabled by default, as firefox says it's not compatible with the current version.
