The tests are hidden, and only run on mozilla-central, because HEY, A SQUIRREL but https://tbpl.mozilla.org/php/getParsedLog.php?id=9645794&tree=Firefox and every Win64 reftest run, REFTEST TEST-UNEXPECTED-PASS | file:///c:/talos-slave/test/build/reftest/tests/layout/reftests/transform-3d/preserve3d-1a.html | image comparison (==)
So really the fail condition should be only OS X, and Windows 7 32-bit. Maybe we should get rid of this test, it seems like more trouble than it's worth . . .
Can I get some feedback about what to do with this test? It's clearly not reliable cross-platform, based on this bug and bug 735866. The problem seems to be inconsistent text rendering. Bug 724614 added preserve3d-5a.html, which tests basically the same thing but uses a box with a border on two sides, instead of text, so it's more reliable.
Apparently got better after HEY, A SQUIRREL
