Details
For migrating elmo off of scl3, we need new hardware to run the master and slaves for the automation. The machines don't need to be beasts, but they should be well connected, and good on disk IO, as that's their main job. I'd like 1 machine for the master, and 2 for the slaves. We'll initially only be able to make use of 1 of the slaves, but I'd rather have the setup. All three machines need speedy access to the data storage for the elmo web heads from bug 652792.

Will more seamicros be enough for this?

Note, Shyam proposed to set this up in SCL3 in bug 741957 comment 1. Re hosts, I asked for three, a master and two slaves.

Phong, hold on this until I can talk with Corey and Laura and come up with a plan. We might go with blades or seamicros here. Unsure atm and way too busy. This is non critical atm since stuff has moved to scl3.

I'm setting up my own new hardware, and there are a few interesting edgecases today. Shyam, what's the best way to document those, and to make the setup reproducable in a way that's useful for this bug? To start, buildbot/twisted 8.2.0 tests pass on CentOS 6.4, and fail on my mac. Wondering if that's OK, or neither matter, how to keep track of what I'm installing, etc.

Probably dump it into a wiki/etherpad? > To start, buildbot/twisted 8.2.0 tests pass on CentOS 6.4, and fail on my > mac. Might even be a different team within IT that works on this now.
