I tried to install the Thunderbird program Windows 8 and even with a compatibility mode (XP SP3) the program does not install with error "Extration Failed File is corruupt".

1: I've downloaded the program on the official server
2: I run the Setup program and this error comes. (see the photo)
3: I try to put the program in compatibility mode and still the error.

Did you try to download the file again ?
There are only a few things how this can happen if most users don't have the issue and your report is AFAIK the first one.

a) The copy of only one mirror server is corrupted
b) the download got corrupted on the way from the server to your hdd
c) your hardware is broken (CPU/RAM errors can cause errors during extracting)
