Start Thunderbird from trunk in safe mode on Linux. Compose a new message. Drag and drop a PNG into it. Send the message. Observe in the received message that the embedded image is all screwed up. Do the same thing in Thunderbird 10.0.1. Observe how everything is fine. This is a major regression and clearly not shippable. I am attaching the valid and invalid messages.
