From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC; en-US; 0.8.1) BuildID: 2001032308 if the box used to allow a field of text to be entered (like this very "Description" field of the bugzilla helper page) is a little too small given the font being used, then when typing text into the field, for every keystroke pressed, the text will jump up and then back down. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. set the fixed font to monaco 10 2. go to the URL http://www.mozilla.org/quality/help/bugzilla-helper.html 3. go to the description field 4. enter at least three lines of text 5. on the fourth line of text, watch the text in the box Actual Results: for every keystroke pressed, the text jumps up, and then back down. Expected Results: the text in the window should stay in one place once
isn't this some ancient bug?

Hmm... I 'm not able to reproduce the problem with the March 26th build (2001032608). Tested under Mac OS 9.1.
