Chris Heilmann's blog has a transformed sidebar, about which he recently blogged:
http://christianheilmann.com/2012/03/06/sidebar-tutorial/
However, the text quality on Firefox 13.0a1 (2012-03-02) on Ubuntu Linux 10.10, Thinkpad X220 with Intel drivers, is very poor (see attached screenshot).
Mousing over the sidebar causes it to rotate back, and the text quality is then fine.
Related: bug 506548, although that bug says that Linux is fine and Windows is not working.

Another example of bad text quality. Presumably something to do with Cleartype turned off on my machine. (WIN7, ATI RADEON)

bz: is this bug 719173, then? I don't think so; turning off the gradual turning doesn't improve the text quality.
Other than that, I can't find a duplicate in "Style System (CSS)" or "Layout: Text". Perhaps a QA person who normally works in this area can.

Hard to tell given the All/All bit (or is this bug about Linux?) and lack of a clear testcase.... But yes, the bugs in comment 3 are what I was thinking of initially.
