Details

I configured Firefox Connection Settings to "Use system proxy settings" because at work I'm behind a corporate proxy configured via PAC file. In HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings "AutoConfigURL" is something like this: http://pac.internal.domain_name.com/pac.php

While browsing trough corporate LAN connection there's no problem. However, when I connect to Internet via a different connection (my ADSL connection at home for example) I keep getting this in the Error Console:
Errore: [Exception... "'SyntaxError: syntax error' when calling method: [nsIProxyAutoConfig::init]" nsresult: "0x8057001c (NS_ERROR_XPC_JS_THREW_JS_OBJECT)" location: "<unknown>" data: no]

I get this error for every link I visit or, better, for every connection the browser tries to establish (I get the same error without visiting any link because of Firefox Sync).

I can reproduce with both Firefox 10.0.2 and the latest Nigthly (13.0a1).
