I was downloading a file from people.mozilla.org (http://people.mozilla.com/~bhearsum/aus4_dev.db.gz to be specific), and it went a lot slower than I remember connections to people.m.o being in the past. It started almost fully stalled, then went up to 30kB/sec - 50kB/sec, and had bursts of 100s of kB/sec. Things seem better now than 15min ago, but the speed is still wildly variable.

I tried both on and off the build-vpn, got the same results from different IPs:
Connecting to people.mozilla.com|10.2.74.108|:80... connected.
Connecting to people.mozilla.com|63.245.208.169|:80... connected.


At the same time, i was able to pull over 1MB/sec from other sites.

I tried it through the Toronto VPN (from London) and was able to reach 2MB/s for the same file.

Probably a temporary issue with the ISP. If this happens again, please add a traceroute to people.mozilla.com in the bug.
