Description

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:13.0) Gecko/20120312 Firefox/13.0a1

1. Open new tab page
2. Print the page (Ctrl+P)

Actual result: Printer error: We are unable to Print or Print Preview this page.
Expected: Display the print dialog.

Printing works with about:blank

I can't reproduce this with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:13.0) Gecko/20120313 Firefox/13.0a1.

I can still reproduce this on Windows (tried with 7 and XP-several machines)
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:14.0) Gecko/20120314 Firefox/14.0a1

I'm surprised this works for you. I can print other pages normally, so I doubt it might be a hardware issue involved.

I am able to see the print preview but not able to print. I should have tried actually printing, sorry.

So turns out we can't print XUL documents at all.

This was disabled in bug 240490 as nobody ever implemented printing for XUL documents correctly.
