Steps:

1. Start firefox with a new profile

Expected:

Customize Firefox & About Us in the "mozilla firefox" bookmark folder should have the firefox icon.

Actual:

Customize Firefox & About Us in the "mozilla firefox" bookmark folder should have the mozillians icon. If you go to the customize firefox and about us pages respectively, the icons will update to the firefox icon.

did we update the icons on the webpages? the default bookmarks have hardcoded favicons from a long time, see http://mxr.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/source/browser/locales/generic/profile/bookmarks.html.in

I think this was fixed at some stage, then broke again. Bug 1439841 is the current tracker for this, but marking as WFM, as I'm sure this has been fixed in the meantime.
