If I am watching a video in one of my tabs (Firefox 11), and I open a new firefox window (Command-N), my video in the original window refreshes and starts over. This does not happen if I open a new tab.

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.7; rv:11.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/11.0 Build ID: 20120310173008 Steps to reproduce: Opened a new window while watching a video on a previous window. Actual results: The video in the original window refreshed. I lost my place. It started over at the beginning. (THIS HAPPENS EVERY TIME). Expected results: NOTHING. The video should have kept playing. Opening a new Firefox window should not have affected the previous window in any way.
video is not video (different plugins and also native <video> tag). Please always include an example URL in your steps to reproduce. Please also test in the Firefox safemode http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode
Ok, here you go. Open up a YouTube video like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4rKnMp9U-Lg&feature=g-all-pls&context=G28aae87FAAAAAAAAAAA Then Command-N to open a new window. It will refresh.
That works for me with Seamonkey trunk. Did you tried the safemode ?
