From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux 2.4.2-ac20 i686; en-US; 0.8.1) BuildID: 2001032608 I prefer a dark gray bg for -all- my pages so as to prevent eyestrain. I've found that even though my 'use my default colours' and my colour change (fromt he default light gray to a darker one) stay put in the instance of mozilla I set them in, they do not return in future instances. I've had a look in my prefs.js file (which was present from a previous install attempt) and one of the values does not update: user_pref("browser.display.use_document_colors", false); user_pref("browser.display.use_system_colors",true); user_pref("browser.display.background_color", "#999999"); The first and the last are correct. The moddile one should be false. As it's true I do not see the background colour I have chosen. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open up Prefs and select colors 2.Change color to something other then the default, change system colours to off and select us emy colours 3.quit out of mozilla and restart it. Actual Results: the prefs should actually say that the bg colour is light gray, that system colours are in use and that document colours are in use, despite the above prefs. any page you load thereafter results in the above being true, rather then what's in prefs.js and what you set. Expected Results: a nice pleaseing-to-the-eye darkish gray bg on all pages :) and that the prefs should reflect what I set. nothing more I can add I think expect that this happened in 0.8.1. Didn't really use mozilla beforehand. :)
